Welcome to K. Onti Photography's Blog!!

I've never done a blog and honestly, up until a couple days ago, I don't even know if I've ever read a blog before... so here I am, giving it a go! I'm looking forward to the opportunity of presenting information about me, my experiences during photography sessions, and information about my photography business to potential clients in this type of format... hopefully on a weekly basis.

What has ultimately enticed me to starting a blog is this... it seems like no one wants to communicate by phone anymore, everything is texting or email. And while those mediums can be useful to send and receive information, it seems like I'm writing the same thing over and over again to different people... and when I'm trying to text out information my clients need to know to prepare for their session or answer their questions about scheduling a session, it makes it difficult via text... and my fingers get sore... so I can't be as complete in my communications as I'd like.

But now, I can write out everything I'd like to share, in just one easy to find location, and it can be read by thousands of people... all at the same time even! Isn't technology amazing?

With that being said, I'd still love to speak with you on the phone and engage in a back and forth sharing of ideas for the session, answer any and all questions you may have and, of course, schedule your session so please don't hesitate to call... unless it's midnight, I won't answer if it's midnight. And if it isn't midnight and you call and I still don't answer, please leave a voicemail message and I will get back to you as soon as possible.

Ta-Ta for now... I'm off to make a list of things to blog about in the future. I believe my next blog will be about what to expect during a maternity session. Can't wait!

The following are some frequently asked questions; this section will be updated, as needed.

Q. Are you a photographer full time?

A. Unfortunately, no. I would love to be able to do photography full time, however, I still have a couple years before I can pursue this as a full time endeavor. Because of this, most of my sessions occur on Saturday, Sunday and the occasional Monday.

Q. Does the session fee include images?

A. The session fee does not include images unless there is a "special occasions" session advertised, for example a holiday mini session, in which the offer clearly states the amount of images provided.

Q. What does the session fee include?

A. The session fee includes an initial consultation via phone, email or in person; a 1 - 3 hours session (depending on the type of session) in my photography studio or at a nearby location if it is a family session; the studio set ups and clothing (if session is newborn, baby, or maternity); the time and talent of the photographer; post-session editing; and digital proofs provided for viewing.

Q. How long before I get to see my edited images?

A. I will tell you a week just to give myself a little "wiggle room", but generally they are ready for your viewing and purchasing within 72 hours.

Q. Are digital images available for purchase?

A. Beginning in January 2018, digital images are now available for purchase through my website, however, they are not included via the listed Photo Packages or purchased with your session plan "print credit."

Q. What types of printed formats do you offer?

A. Paper prints in standard and specialty sizes; traditional, stretched and flat mounted canvas; thin wraps; metal; and wood. In addition, you can purchase keepsakes, such as, coffee mugs, mouse pads, coasters, phone cases, etc.
